One can spend quite a bit of money in their genealogy pursuits, but there are also many resources available at little or no cost.  Doug will discuss some of the ways he minimizes expenses, especially when first getting started in genealogy.  Some of the tips may be useful to 'old-timers', too.  What advice can you share?
