DNAPainter started a few years ago as a sophisticated chromosome mapping tool which visually organizes the segments you share with your matches. Since then it has grown to incorporate many additional tools which help you understand your DNA results. WATO calculates the probabilities associated with the locations of an unknown match in your tree and Ancestral Trees displays and analyzes your pedigree tree.
