We talk about matching our genetic cousins all the time, but what does that mean? Below the surface your test website is comparing your DNA to that of others, looking for identical segments. Each segment has a story of its own which is not captured by declaring two people are a match. In this presentation we will start with the fundamental properties of DNA to understand its strengths and weaknesses. Then we will show you how segment DNA tools can help you analyze your results.
