Bio:
Patricia Dintrone received her PhD in History from the University of Virginia in 1982 and spent most of her career as a faculty member at San Diego State University, with side trips to UCSD. After her retirement from SDSU she followed her interest in history into the world of genealogy, tracing her family roots back to Germany in the 1600s. Since 2011 she has been a volunteer consultant at the Family Search Library in Mission Valley. She has taught classes in using FamilySearch.org, accessing microfilm records, and the historical background of immigration, in addition to helping many individual clients discover their roots
